Boudoir Photography on the Gold Coast: What to Expect From a Session With Me

If you’ve ever thought about booking a boudoir photoshoot but felt nervous, awkward, or like you need to be more confident first - this is for you.

My boudoir sessions on the Gold Coast are designed for women who want to reconnect with themselves. Women on a working holiday visa finding their feet in a new country (hey! That’s me, too.). Brides-to-be wanting to feel grounded and confident before the chaos of a wedding. Women who know they want something, even if they can’t quite put it into words yet.

Here’s exactly what you can expect.

Before Your Session: The Nerves Are Normal

Almost every woman who books me tells me the same thing - “I’m excited… but I’m also really nervous.” That awkward, unsure feeling? Completely normal.

You don’t need to feel confident before your session. You don’t need to wait until you lose weight, feel better in your body, or reach some imaginary version of yourself. The truth is: the timing will never feel perfect. If you know you want this experience, that’s reason enough to do it now.

The First 10 Minutes: Where Everything Softens

Within the first few minutes of your session, something shifts.

We’ll put music on, chat, laugh, and ease into things slowly. I demonstrate every single pose so you’re never left wondering what to do with your body. With your permission, I’ll gently guide and adjust you - nothing rushed, nothing forced.

This is usually the point where clients say it feels like a sleepover with a friend. The nerves melt away, the pressure disappears, and you realise you’re safe here.

During the Shoot: Playful, Intimate, and Completely You

My boudoir style is playful and intimate, always shot through the female gaze. Nothing is over-sexualised. Nothing is about performing for anyone else.

We move at your pace. You’re encouraged, reassured, and shown how incredible you look every step of the way. Whether we’re shooting in a light-filled studio in Burleigh or on the beach at sunrise or sunset, the focus is always the same - capturing you as you are, in a way that feels natural and honest.

There’s no expectation to “know how to pose.” No modelling experience required. Whoever you are, wherever you come from, this experience is for you.

After the Session: Confident as Hell

By the time we finish, most women leave feeling lighter. More grounded. Confident as hell.

And then comes the gallery.

Seeing your photos is often a wow moment - not because you suddenly look like someone else, but because you finally see yourself the way others already do. Strong. Soft. Confident. Enough.

What to Wear (and What Not to Overthink)

You can wear lingerie, implied nude looks, shirts, or anything you feel most comfortable in. There are no rules here - comfort always comes first. We’ll talk through outfit choices beforehand so nothing feels stressful or overwhelming.

Why Women Feel Safe With Me

I’m a deeply personable photographer. People open up to me - and they’re always allowed the space to share as much or as little as they want. Sessions often turn into honest conversations, laughter, and moments of quiet reflection.

We don’t just work together, we connect. And more often than not, we leave as friends.

Gold Coast Boudoir Sessions

I’ll be based on the Gold Coast from October to March, shooting in a beautiful studio in Burleigh and outdoors at the beach (why the helly not!!) at sunrise and sunset.

If you’re craving an experience that’s relaxed, affirming, and centred entirely around you, I’d love to create that with you.
