2025 has been nothing short of extraordinary here at Boudoir by Honey & Heather.

This year wasn’t about perfection, posing, or fitting into someone else’s version of beauty.
It was about women taking up space, reclaiming their bodies, and walking into their sessions feeling nervous… then walking out feeling powerful.

So today, I wanted to pause, reflect, and celebrate everything that made this year so special.

60,000+ Images Taken… But the Impact Was So Much Bigger

Over the past year, I’ve taken more than 60,000 photographs - but the real magic wasn’t in the numbers.

It was in:

the quiet moments before the first outfit
the deep breaths between poses
the laughter when someone realised “Oh… I actually look incredible.”

Every click of the shutter was a tiny act of bravery from the woman in front of my camera.

And I will never take that lightly.

56 Women Who Chose Themselves

In 2025, I had the honour of photographing 56 incredible women + a few guys too.

Some came to celebrate their bodies after having babies.
Some wanted to feel sexy again.
Some were healing from heartbreak, weight gain, illness, or years of self-doubt.
Some just wanted to do something purely for themselves.

Every single one of them walked into my studio with a story… and left with something more than photos.

They left with confidence.

What 2025 Gave Me (Personally)

Not only have I had the honour of helping women feel confident this year;
you have done the exact same for me.

Every woman who stepped into my space gave me:

purpose
empowerment
fulfilment
and so much joy

You reminded me why I started Boudoir by Honey & Heather in the first place - to create a space where women feel safe, seen and celebrated.

Three Intimate Couples Sessions

2025 also brought something extra special - three couples boudoir sessions.

This was never something I really offered before, after having a weird experience when I first began this business… but it’s really been a lot of fun to explore again this year.

These sessions were raw, emotional, playful and deeply connected.
They reminded me that boudoir isn’t just about how you look…
it’s about how you feel with someone who loves you exactly as you are.

Looking Ahead to 2026… and Beyond

I cannot wait for what’s next.

In 2026 I’ll be continuing to capture boudoir sessions across the UK - right up until I head to Australia in September for the next chapter of my life.

And wherever I am in the world, one thing will always stay the same:
my mission to help women feel confident, sexy and at home in their bodies.

One Epic Iceland Boudoir Adventure

One of the highlights of this year was my Iceland boudoir adventure - a wild, powerful, soul-stirring experience that reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

Bare skin against dramatic landscapes.
Freedom.
Strength.
Femininity.

This wasn’t about being sexy for anyone else - it was about being completely, unapologetically you, and being immersed in and connected with nature.

So Many Mindsets Shifted

One of the most beautiful things about boudoir is that the transformation isn’t just physical.

I’ve watched women:

stop hiding their stomachs
stop apologising for their thighs
stop shrinking themselves

and start saying things like
“I didn’t know I could look like that.”
“I’ve never felt this sexy.”
“I actually love my body.”

That is why I do this.
